It’s impressive when a stunning, soaring modern exterior is accompanied by a lovely interior. But when a designer is dealing with low ceilings, basic building materials and not a lot of space, we’re doubly impressed when we end up with a stunning interior result. Case in point: the House in Inokashira by Torafu Architects. A renovated condominium unit, the designers and owners of the space were very careful with what they added to the space after they took out many unneeded things, like some walls.

Really it’s the bright feeling the tight space has, while still remaining cozy. It’s the ingenious space-saving and space-maximizing elements incorporated through the space. We love those pops of color that seem just right and not too jarring. We love the soft, neutral materials sprinkled throughout. Spotted on Architectural.

What do you think of this space?!
