The much mocked skinny jean has hugged many a leg, from New York, to Austin, to Los Angeles.* Wondering how much longer the trend of blood-cuttingly tight pants will last? Well, with the newest incarnations of the idea, probably for awhile longer. It’s not enough to just wear pants tight enough to see what you ate last, you’ve now got to grab attention with the hottest neon color you can find.

How might one translate this into an interior environment? Why, by looking to your drapery of course. No, we’re not implying that drapes are the pants of the interior (or are we?) but you can certainly incorporate some awesome columns of color by adding some solid-colored neon curtains in a room or two.

What do you think about columns of color for an interior space?! Do you own a pair of neon-colored skinny jeans?! Speak up! Preferably in the comments.
