Chances are, if you're reading this blog you love design and you want to make sure to include some great ideas to your own interior design. We want to make sure you do more than shop modern lighting , and add a little ambiance. Here's a few tips... 1. Focal Point The image above is a great example for creating a focal point, or a 'wow' factor. There should be one area in the room (big or small) that attracts the eye and grounds the overall design. That gallery wall certainly draws attention and most likely even sparks many conversations... Ultimately, adding lots of personality to the living room. This means designing above and not just around. Contemporary chandeliers can play a large role in this, but you could go even further and paint or add wallpaper to your ceiling like this office design above. For example, similar to this bedroom above, you'll want the room you sleep in to be a little darker than other rooms. Or at least have the capability to be dark, by providing drapery or shades. Modern table lamps or stylish wall lights with soft bulbs are perfect for the bedroom.
