As promised another Palm Springs -  Modern Living Expo find to share.   The story of  whyrHymer is one of constant evolution. whyrHymer designer/maker Brandon Morrison set out from rural Louisiana in 1998 to pursue a career as an actor and fate intervened as it often does when you least expect it.  Creating the journey to a new path in where along the way he discovered a passion for working in rich woods such as Walnut, Mahogany, Cherry, & White Oak.

Now fuse that with lighting including the Edison reproduction filament blubs (aka  Naked Blubs), voila, original light fixtures where turn of the 20th century meets mid 20th century.  Oh how modern!  Now we all know that nothing happens overnight.  Becoming good at something takes practice and persistence, which is evident here.
