We love how open and airy this residence in Washington State is; it’s floor to ceiling windows, but the thick borders and architecture keep it from being too cold and modern. The warm wood definitely brings a warm, friendly, inviting feeling to the space, but the clean lines and sleek angles let you know you are in a modern house. We like the way other materials and furnishings enhance the space, but also how the architecture’s built environment is meant to enhance conversation and living. Designed by Scott Edwards Architecture.
