There's a fine line between trash and art, at least in New York. Consistent with a popular philosophy behind the purpose of art, this installation teaches us something.... It exposes just how much trash is produced in New York City. This cloud-style structure, called "Head in the Clouds" was created on Governor's Island in New York last Summer and made from 52,780 used plastic bottles. Designer Jason Klimoski points out that this is the number of plastic bottles thrown away in NYC in just one hour. Our answer to the title of this post.... BOTH. Jason Klimoski and the design team from Studio KCA are looking for a place to install this Summer so if you're interested contact them here . Want to shop art that you can put in your own home, head over to Euro Style Lighting's art department ! Have a great weekend everyone! Images: Colossal
