This South African interpretation of a Case Study House is beyond beautiful. I found one image and tracked it down until I could find out more. The house was designed by Pretoria architect Karlien Thomashoff. They worked closely with the owners, “one wish in mind: to build a South African interpretation of the legendary Los Angeles Case Study Houses of the 1940s, 50s and 60s.” I would say they cam beautifully close. I would love to call this place home. The Case Study House that most inspired their new home was No 18, or Field House, designed by Craig Ellwood.
