We love breathing new life into old things. While cutting edge designs are certainly a characteristic of modern design, so to is knowing that reusing vintage goods is just as good. En Route Studio sends clients’ furniture to their “Reform School.” There, they get handpainted fabric applied to sleek vintage frames to spice up the whole composition. We love that many of the fabric features not just bold colors and patterns, but rather arresting graphics. Totally perfect for a modern home.

We’re also digging that they are thinking to the future and coming up with their own designs. They haven’t been built yet, but you can totally check out their adorable models they’ve mocked up. We’d like to see those get built someday. More here.
