This 17th Century house restoration is a quite a nice marriage of old and new. I appreciate that some of the history was left for future residents to experience. The bricks walls and wooden beams will be a constant reminder of what the house once was. I also appreciate the juxtaposition of the new next to the old. The ground floor doubles as an art gallery.
