For developers with projects of at least 50 units (single-family or multi-family homes/townhouses/condominiums), MKD may be able to service other areas (factories respond best to aggregated demand). Please describe your project in detail so that we can discuss your project with an appropriate factory.

MKD works with all MKD home owners to open their homes for tours once they are completed. Many MKD homes are "in the ground", and if we could point you to one that you could tour today, we certainly would.

We will announce via the LiveModern News the availability of the next MKD Home to be shown for prospective buyers. Note that all MKD homes are private residences, and the owners want to simply live in them. While we are working with owners to show their homes we also respect the owner's privacy (we won't even divulge their address so that you can drive by). We're sure you will appreciate the same consideration once you build your own MKD home.

As for touring a factory, the factories do not provide tours for the general public. It's an insurance issue as these are construction sites. Of course, when your own home is on the factory floor, a factory representative would be happy to escort you on a tour so that you can personally inspect the high quality construction that Michelle Kaufmann Designs insists upon from the factories that she licenses her designs to.
