Is it true that a wheelchair will tear apart an engineered hardwood floor if it's floating?

I just built an accessible house on a slab. The builder glued down the engineered hardwood (red oak) floor onto the concrete. We have been in this house for three months and the floor boards are already buckling. We also have a TON of air pockets. We were originally told that the floor would be floated, then all of the sudden we were told that it can't be floated because my wheelchair would tear it apart, so it was glued down instead. Like I said we have been here three months and the floors look awful. Not because of my chair, but because of the buckling due to the glue. Their solution to all of the air bubbles is to inject more glue, which only makes it worse. Please help!

No it's not true (if installed properly) & the buckling is probably caused by the moisture from the slab - adding more glue won't help. It needs to be torn...
