The app promises to be useful for a long list of consumers who are considering the installation of solar panels on either a rooftop or other property location. The app will determine the potential efficiency that could be obtained.

Users one can also manually enter their address, and then select the country from the drop-down menu.
As for site detailing for using solar, when the site has been located and fine-tuned using satellite imagery the app will then feature a performance graph overlay that will identify the suitability of the site or specific section of the property’s roof.
Bottom line, this app will be solid tool to help identify which section of a roof should be chosen for optimal solar efficiency. Additionally, a version 2.0 for this app is currently in development that will factor in sun time data based on GPS location and also slope/tilt angle of the roof to give estimated energy generation in kWh.
The app will work worldwide and is free for both iPad and iPhone. It can be viewed at the iTunes store.
