Assistant Program Manager for California Building Performance Contractors Association, a non-profit energy efficiency trade organization in downtown Oakland, California. Work includes a variety of tasks in support of a rapidly growing Home Performance with ENERGY STAR program for advancing residential energy efficiency in existing homes.
Applicant must have effective verbal and written communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, good personal organization, and ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel. Work will include responding to phone inquiries, scheduling training registrants, writing program announcements and communications, and general administrative assistance. Website development, web-based marketing experience, and an interest in energy efficiency and green technologies are a plus. A strong work ethic and self-motivation are essential traits. Likewise applicant will need good people skills, friendly personality, and a pleasant phone manner.
