We just purchased a new home. Our AC unit is not working and also needs new duct work. The boiler is old and currently has baseboard radiators which I suspect may leak as many other things in this house do. The hot water heater is over 12 years old and sounds as if it may not have long to live. What would you suggest as an affordable way to upgrade these systems. Would it make sense to use the new duct work for central heat and air? I have heard that some hot water heaters can be connected to boilers and work in a similar way to the tankless systems. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks

Martha,

These are great questions and, with your heating and hot water systems at the end of their life, it's an excellent time to ask them.

First, I have to clarify one...
