Reclaimed Lumber Orchid Planters

Small scraps of lumber perplex me because it seems wasteful to throw them away or burn them but they are rarely large enough to be useful. After building a table from reclaimed lumber from a 100 year old barn I had a frustratingly large pile of scraps. Instead of burning them in a summer campfire, I turned them into orchid planters.
