I'm concerned about the blown in insulation put in my attic by a weatherizing program.

I have a bathroom fan with the venting going into the atic. They did not move the tube that I had laying across the floor for the venting when using the bathroom fan. I was wondering if this is safe or is it a fire hazard. They blew the insulation. In covering the vent and the tubing. Also it is a walk up atic. And they just covered on top of old insulation 18 inches which no I cant use as storage space. Should they have used a different type of insulation and is it ok they went over what was already there (it was the roll out kind) now the insulation goes up to my waist. Not sure if this is a good idea for a walk up full atic.

Please contact your local code enforcement and have them inspect it and pull a permit. It's hard to make a comment about somebody's work when I'm not looking a it.
