Ecobee’s Newest Thermostat

Ecobee's newest, easy-to-use thermostat technology has recently been released. It is called Smart Si.



Ecobee of Toronto, Canada is a company that designs thermostats that are easy to use for both residential and commercial use. But being easy to use is not the most influential aspect of its designs, but the ability to be energy efficient is.

Ecobee discusses its company sustainability implementation as,

“It’s fully automated energy conservation so you never have to choose between being green and being comfortable.”

They are dedicated to helping consumers conserve energy, save money and reduce environmental impact with their technologies that offer full color touch-screens and WIFI enabling.

Ecobee works close with their utility partners to come up with innovative strategies for conservation, energy efficiency and demanding responses. As a company they allow consumers to have the abilities to make sense of their energy costs and manage multiple locations from a single web portal. They believe in getting it right, every time and technologies that are easy to use, right out of the box.

Their newest, easy-to-use thermostat technology has recently been released. It is called Smart Si.

This thermostat is designed for home use and energy efficient technology offered at affordable prices. This technology is estimated to save an average homeowner 26 percent on annual energy costs.

The Smart Si thermostat can be adjusted from any computer, IPhone, smart phone or tablet at any time. It is equipped with an automatic alert system to notify homeowners when heating and air conditioning equipment needs service, when it is time to change the filters and if there is any malfunction within the equipment system.

With such amazing new technology, Ecobee has run out of its first three productions but has amped up its manufacturing efforts for Smart Si thermostats. Stuart Lombard, Ecobee’s President and CEO stated,
