Skincare company Aesop (maker of this hand cream I'm completely obsessed with for the winter) is known for their unique design-conscious retail stores. They make a point of collaborating with local designers and architects with an aim "to add rather than detract from the existing built environment, taking into account the characteristics of the neighbourhood and the type of outlets with which we share the street." With that mission in mind, Brooklyn-based design firm Tacklebox used The New York Times—400,000 strips of it, actually— to build Aesop's latest store in New York's Nolita neighborhood.
