Seattle-based Modern Shed fabricates its sheds in sizes as small as 80 square feet.  Models come with a range of options, including energy-efficient windows, durable metal roofing, and a handsome, open-joint, HardiePlank exterior.  Purchase a Modern Shed from +$6,900.

 

These stylish sheds are made by a Boulder-based startup and feature large overhangs, FSC-certified woods, recycled aluminum frame windows, cement board siding, and low-VOC paints.  Purchase a Studio Shed from +$4,500.

 

California-based kitHAUS recently launched the Kpod, which is a 117 square-foot structure with bolt-together aluminum framing, SIPs, dual-glazed windows, cement board siding, and either a wood or steel clad sliding barn door.  Purchase a Kpod for -$20,000.
