California is suffering from a devastating and stubborn recession that has forced more than a million Californians out of work. Yet a glaring corporate tax loophole encourages multistate companies to keep jobs out of California and puts job-creating California companies at a competitive disadvantage. The California Clean Energy Jobs Act (CEJA), major funding by Thomas Steyer and Californians for Clean Energy & Jobs and sponsored by environmental organizations & business, will close this tax loophole, create tens of thousands of new jobs, and help advance the state’s clean energy economy. CEJA invests in energy efficiency and clean energy projects, creating good paying jobs and reducing energy consumption in California. This measure is slated for the November 2012 ballot.

Green Chamer of Commerce is endorsing this bill. Please see more contact information on our web page.
