We loved the upbeat, cheery look of this feminine, sophisticated room. These design elements show that bringing nature indoors with floral prints and natural accent pieces (those woven poufs!) doesn’t have to be reserved for spring. Naturally, we had to find all the necessary bits and pieces to create the style in true ecofabulous fashion, and here they are:

1. Ekla Home Headboard

This gorgeous Donna headboard features all of the sustainable elements that Ekla Home furniture is known for – FSC certified woods, natural tapped rubber and a plethora of organic fabric options. (Call 310.699.9057 or email info@eklahome.com for pricing)

2. Raksha Bella Organic bedding

Raksha Bella Organic quilts and shams are 100% certified organic cotton sateen, made beautiful by low-impact, AZO-free dye hand-blocked prints. All are made and imported from India, where this type of handcraft is a tradition and made under fair labor practices. Indian Rose Organic Quilt ($540-570)

3. West Elm organic sheets

This paisley printed duvet cover and sham set is 100% certified organic cotton, using GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard). With a 230-thread count and easy machine-washable care, this neutral palette is as practical as it is luxurious. West Elm organic blocked paisley duvet cover + shams ($24-109)

4. Wildflower, Betula chaise

This Betula chaise, by Wildflower, is constructed from natural wool, organic cottons, sustainable harvested timbers and non-toxic finishes. Customize the chaise with your choice of upholstery fabric. Betula chaise ($2375)

5. Vivaterra modern side table

Vivaterra‘s Modern Side Table is handcrafted from reclaimed Douglas Fir, and comes in either a dark or light tone. Modern Side Table $495

6. LightenUP Design tea set

This adorable ceramic creamer and sugar set is made-to-order by LightenUp Design, using non-toxic glazes. Each is cast from a tea set belonging to the designer’s grandmother, hence the name: “Grandma’s Cream and Sugar Set.” ($100)

7. Pottery Barn Woven Pouf

Get the look of nature indoors, with this woven jute pouf. Pottery Barn carries this multi-functional piece in 18″ and 20″ rounds, as a part of their “Earth-friendly” collections. Woven pouf ($89-99)

8. Way Basics storage cube

This modular storage cube from Way Basics is made from 99% recycled paper board. Use one, mount a few, stack several as a bookcase. The design possibilities are nearly limitless. Storage Cube ($22.50)

9. Vintage Chinese garden seats

Shown in the Metropolitan Home room pictured above, these vintage Chinese garden seats are one unique find. The hand-painted porcelain is decorated with a design of cabbage leaves, and wide borders of flowers and butterflies. (Bid on the seats here)

10. Amy Butler for Chandra rug

Designer Amy Butler has created hand-tufted & hand-dyed 100% New Zealand wool designs for Chandra rugs. This one, called Caracas, brings warmth into a room with deep red, burgundy and magenta tones. Caracas rug ($1012-2192)
