I have always wanted a telephone desk. As luck would have it, I found one for 10 dollars while thrifting last week. I brought the desk home with this specific project in mind. My goal was to make an easy to remove seat cover. DIY reupholstering is a great way to make things last and use over and over, ultimately saving pieces of furniture from the landfill. With this project, I wanted something that I could easily remove by using velco instead of the usual large amount of hard to remove staples. The Velcro allows for quick switch-outs and fresh updates to one piece.
