Reclaimed wood used in furniture is nothing new, but it still strikes me when I see it being used in a beautiful setting. This table from Cissy and Richard's green tour is made from the floorboards

Reclaimed wood used in furniture is nothing new, but it still strikes me when I see it being used in a beautiful setting. This table from Cissy and Richard's green tour is made from the floorboards of an old warehouse in Portland, Oregon. The planks of Douglas Fir were sanded down then refinished to become a huge, stunning dining room table. Full of knots and perfect imperfections, this piece just breathes history, memory and future mealtime celebrations yet to come. See another photo below.
