Would it be possible to pull the fabric and foam off of an existing spring mattress and replace it with cotton or wool batting, natural latex, etc.? I'm pretty crafty, but the idea of taking apart our mattress is a bit daunting. Any thoughts or ideas, or recommendations on materials?
