Thanks for noticing. Things have been improving here, and you are the only one, actually, that has commented on the speed boost. I'm sure others have noticed, but you took the time to provide positive feedback. Thanks.

We did some cache tweaking in December that allows for about 2,000 page requests per second (on the same page) when you are not logged in. It did not affect the speed of pages when you are logged in too much, other than to take a lot of load off the server (the vast majority of people never log in). The downside, I think, is that now the same page can have two URLs, http://livemodern.com/page and http://members.livemodern.com/page , the latter being generated by the fact that you are logged in as a member. this can casue minor confusion, and other things.
