Does anyone happen to know of any architects using plone to power their websites? I have been looking into it and there seems to be a lot of potential for using plone to communicate with clients, etc.
Ha! Yea, it's an unwritten rule that architect's sites have to be done all in flash. ;o)
Plone is OK. It's really a 'portal' like CMS system.
That said, for communicating with clients, I assume you are maybe referring more to project management? If so, there are tools designed specifically for that type of interaction. You might want to try something like basecamp:

Basecamp is on the low/simple/cheaper end of the spectrum.
Thanks for the input. I understand that Plone is a portal system I wouldn't think of Plone as a public face for an architects website, but rather a flexible way to collaborate with consultants and clients. Basecamp looks interesting I am going to check it out more. Plone seems like it might provide a great deal of flexibility for different uses.
