A silly question - where is the search function for these forums?

Upper right corner of any page. It searches the entire site, not just forum content.



An alternative is to use the search tab, just below the search box.
It's for advanced searches. You can select only the content types that
you want to search through (like forum topics). Unfortunately, the
advanced search function can be more confusing than it needs to be for
the casual user.
