I think we have the caching working correctly again. The site should be much faster, whether you are logged on or not.

We'll test it over the next couple of days as we promote the site...

Marshall or whomever is doing behind the scenes plone stuff today,

I'm trying to update some items on my LM home page:

http://livemodern.com/Members/eamesdaedelus/index_html/

but I can't get to an edit tab if i click on the page in my contenets folder. methinks it is somehow in the server as the wrong type of file.

I'm trying to add a new link on that page to a new page I just cobbled together.

Thanks for the help.

I noticed that the document had expired (Aug 9, 2004!) and set it to have no expiration date. Does that solve the problem?

Actually it didn't. But if I "unpublish" it it gets me back to the edit tab. It is now a "public draft" and fully editable.

Thanks,

Mark

Ahah! You discovered a new feature of the upgraded site software. I don't see it the same way as you do because my access is as a manager (I can edit anything), but you've discovered that as the content's author you first have to retract something that is published before it can be edited. Sorry I did not find that feature for you first.
