Recycling options for a newly cut fir tree

Hi all,
I just had a very large olf fir tree cut down on my lot in North Vancouver, and now I am looking for ideas to use the wood for pprojects either for my home or our cabin in the okanagan rather then just using it as firewood. It was cut into sections a few feet high, and we have piles of it.
Any thoughts/ideas appreciated.
