I really like modern houses, but this one leaves me flat. :(

I agree but I'm not quite sure why because the forms are interesting. It looks dated but I think it could look A LOT better with color. The all white exterior combined with more of the same in those ugly railings is, as incubus suggested, too Miami Vice. It needs some natural elements.
