I've been busy moving into our new house for the last 8 weeks, so I have been unable to post, but I took time out for the AIA Nebraska Chapter Biannual home tour. Only 4 houses this year (there were several more two years ago). But one of the houses was this one:
I posted this house earlier on here, but I did not know it's history. It turns out it was designed by Don Polsky, who was originally from Omaha and then went out to California as a young man in the 1960s and worked there with Richard Neutra. The house was very cool on the inside, with lots of interesting built ins.
Photographs were not officially allowed in any of the homes, but the lady who owned this one said go ahead!, I have to get the scanner unpacked and then I will get them on here.
