looking for Ann Arbor remodel architect

Well, we've decided that the path of least (somewhat!) resistance is going to be best. In lieu of building a modern home (good luck in A2), or finally buying one (we'd like to move in this millenium), we are going to buy a traditional home and remodel to our tastes. So, we are looking for suggestions of architects/builders who are open-minded, like client involvement, and who are willing to look at alternatives that are good design but don't break the bank. Is there such a person/firm in A2? We thought maybe the UM architecture school would have some grads, but have yet to contact them. Any suggestions would be very appreciated!
