flooring options

Posted by cole scego at August 05. 2006

currently building new house, I am looking for the best flooring options for main living level. The catch is that the flooring must be compatible with 2 80# weimarainers. I will have tile in bathrooms, entry, and kitchen. I would like to use tile throughout the house, though that would break the budget. My current home has hardwood floors with a lot of scratches, so that is also not an option. The flooring will be laid over basic 3/4 advantec flooring. I am looking for an option that will not break the budget. I am not opposed to some nice carpet, though I am not sure that is the best option. Just looking for additional ideas. thanks

Check out the commercial flooring options. Armstrong makes some really cool VCT - some even have texture. It's hard to see what they actually look like by looking at the website.

We went into a flooring store like Baker Bros and looked at the commercial flooring area. Mannington makes some really cool stuff but it's nearly impossible to get samples directly from them. You're looking at 1-2.75 a sqft.
