That Kitchen is fabulous! Please post what you learn. That is the look I hope to accomplish. I want to add a few glass doors in the mix. How great green glass would look to match that counter top! Might even break up the metal with a little wood for good measure. Like Wenge wood...maybe.
I failed to clarify want I meant by formica. I learned they make a line in formica that imitates metals. They offered a brushed aluminum, and bright one, one with swirl polish marks and I may have seen the diamond pattern. Copper also. My husband knows my house keeping abilities, or should I say lack thereof...he has forbidden the use in excess of stainless as he says it would take a real house keeper to keep the smudges off. SO...I plan to incorporate the formica in areas that stainless would be my first choice. You might visit your local formica dealer and look at the samples in stainless. You too may like it!
