Stucco hates Galvalume

We are planning to use a combination of stucco and corrugated galvalume on the exterior of our house. I was reading about the galvalume and it was pretty clear that stucco and galvalume do not mix. Any stucco touching galvalume will cause the galvalume to rust (or otherwise breakdown). At the same time, my understanding is that stucco control joints are typically made out of aluminum, which will breakdown if it comes into contact with the galvalume (or steel). Arrgh! How do we interface the stucco with the galvalume if the galvalume cannot touch either the aluminum control joints (or other stucco trim pieces) or the stucco? Any suggestions?
one idea may be to create a 'border' or 'frame' around the galvalume where it borders the stucco with something like the cellular pvc trim boards like azek makes.

it can be cut to your desired size with tools you'd use with lumber. it comes in white standard, but can be painted if you prefer. as for shapes, personally i'd prefer the rectangular shapes with a smooth finish like this ( not the the fake woodgrain stuff).

btw - i thought there were some companies that made vinyl J molding or transition strips that you could use, but i cant think of the mfr names right now...
not knowing your exact conditions (thicknesses, substrates etc) another possibility could be found here:
