Well, Fleetwood maybe the MBenz of the windows world, but their sales network is clearly not German. After waiting for nearly a month for a quote, their rep said he had been very swamped. Waiting for a quote from a new rep. It has been a week and counting. These are the people Fleetwood sent me to when I called them to find a dealer! If I ever get a quote I will let you know...

Have a look at our product at www.petarch.com. Sorry, we lost our past site due to a hosting service going out of business and haven't replaced it yet. Our sliding glass door is probably the best looking door you'll find. Our performance is excellent too. Thermally broken, clear anodize is a stock finish. We are not cheap like Milgard and the others mentioned here though. Our doors were on the upside down house in the July 2004 issue of Dwell.

Hello Luca,

I am wondering the results of your window search.  I am currently shopping windows in Texas and have bid Rhino, RAM and Don Young for windows and Metalcraft for sliding doors.  Does anyone have any recommendations for high quality and affordable anodized thermally broken windows or multi panel sliding doors?  Do you have contact info for Thermal Replacement?

Thanks!

Hi Aarong and thanks for the gentle nudge, I have not been following the forum for a while...

All leads for windows in the states turned up nothing, as we had requirements that are seldom found in just one window.

We needed the windows to be impact proof, anodized and offering custom sizes. Some of the quotes were so high you could have considered them to be jokes.

In the end a commercial window installer who did some work for my wife came to the rescue and is providing the windows.

I have not seen the windows yet so I cannot endorse them, but they are from ESWindows. That is all I know, but I guess you could find a dealer in your area?
