Looking for aesthetically pleasing hardware

Posted by Chris at September 12. 2005

I am panelling a room in 4 x 4 veneered squares, alternating the grain patterns, and I'm looking for a small yet aesthetically pleasing piece of hardware to hold the panels (in each corner) to the wall.
I saw some a long time ago on a wall done in a similar fashion in Metropolitan Home, but there was no info given on the hardware.
I would use a standard construction adhesive, but I want to have the ability to remove the panels should the necessity arise.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to peruse the posting in this forum on Plywood Floors... I was the originator, and was SO appreciative of all the responses. Some may be applicable to your wall installation, especially the aluminum grid - t-channels were discussed, but I would think you could use h channels, and glue/screw these to the wall - it would make removal much easier?

Good luck,
Rob
