hr ventilation

Posted by brano rataj at July 17. 2009

we would like to have heat recovery system installed in our house but we are worried as my wife has some serious issues with drafts. we cant have conventional ducted heating/ac system as they produce too much drafts. i am wandering if anyone has hrv system installed and what is the experience with it, maynly with draft strength.

have you thought about radiant heat? That's what we're doing, much because of drafts.

yes, we are doing radiant heat for same reason. hr ventilation isnt heating or ac system. it is indoor air exchanging system. it is used in buildings with airtight envelope to exchange stale air for fresh air.
