is this the door pivot that you're talking about? They're calling this a "lateral pivot" door.

Be prepared to shell out some cash, ditto the Rixson stuff.  You might check McKinney, http://www.mckinneyhinge.com/catalog/subcatalog.cfm?cat_id=51 , they're a well regarded, basic standby.

We've been successful using a pivot hinge from Hager.

You can acheive a true frameless design with these.
