I ordered a 65A - 4 footer drain. The price was $275 plus $175 for DHL shipping to the U.S. I ordered it last Friday and it is due to come in on Thursday. I am installing as shown in the attached image. The drain will be up against the wall with all the plumbing.
Hi Jason,
Just curious how this turned out for you. We are about to do a similar thing. We found a local comapny that fabricates these, but the finish and design on the 65A looks a notch higher from the pictures. Are you happy with it? Thanks
We are not quite done with our house. I will know more in 60 days and will post photos. So far, so good though!
Though perhaps not quite as "luxe" as Stormtech, here is a company that manufactures a variety of trench drains:

The issue that we are having is that the simple trough drains don't accommodate the connection of a membrane, and in our shower application we are using tile in a pier-and-beam foundation, so a membrane is pretty much a necessity. I really like the looks of their 2" wide MiniKlassik, but it looks like we will end up going with the wider Membrane Drain.
I found a number of other companies making ADA compliant trench drains, but most were simple non-membrane accommodating styles and lacked the finish quality we are seeking...
Has this problem been solved for anyone? We are looking for a high end finish (polished nickel or stainless steel) to go in a master bath shower as per above. Need both rough and finished drain. Our plumber is having trouble identifying a source. Price is not the issue, but time is... we would like to purchase ASAP as this issue has stopped the rennovation of our bathroom. We need help and advice. The point was to have a "trough drain" so that no shower curb would be necessary. Please help!
