Modern handrailings

Posted by cdrmemphis at March 09. 2008

We are working with a metal smith to design a very simple handrail for our interior stairs. Does anyone have good photos of well designed modern handrails to post on the forum? Good websites? We are thinking of using stainless steel flat stock pieces. One design discussion is how we attach the rail to the wall- many options there and I am curious how others attained this.

thanks-

Memphis,

Here are some photos of handrails we have done on projects. Make sure you find a welder that has good experience in doing handrails and staircases. They can really screw up the details if they aren't skilled enough.

Good luck!
