anyone used Bomanite?/basement floor options...

We are looking for options for a solid floor for our basement and would also like to have radiant heat underneath.  My  husband came across something called "Bomanite"

Has anyone used it?

Also, we don't want to spend a fortune on the basement as it's a project we didn't anticipate having and would be a huge money sink...any other options for a floor?  We had a raised wooden floor (very bad) and are not totally psyched about tile, unless someone has something great...

Best,

Fran

What's the floor right now? If it'c concrete you could consider a concrete stain. Fairly simple/cheap.

We need to put heat under it as Michigan is bone-chilling cold in the winter...so it's concrete now, but we are wondering how we can put in heat and have a polished concrete floor.  We had a raised floor that was destroyed by a clogged drain, so there is a little bit of room for some height.
