2quot; x 4quot; bathroom tile?

Posted by Fran Loosen at December 15. 2005

I am looking for a 2 x 4 white bathroom tile that can both go up the walls and on the floor over a heated flooring. I am *dying* at pricing out the oh-so-beautiful Pratt and Larson at $28/sf and heaps more for the bullnoses... Any ideas out there? The 3 x 6 sub tile is too large for the bathroom...

I will not be installing this myself, either, so cutting down existing tiles isn't really an option.

Sigh, so many beautiful tiles, so little money.

I just ordered some glass tiles from hakatai for my kitchen backsplash. They are 1 x 1, so not exactly what you're looking for, but they are relatively cheap, and very nice. I bought the ashland series in mint cream for $9/sq. ft. They shipped the tile out very quickly as well. Good luck on your search. I'll post pictures once I've got them set (won't be anytime soon though).

Check out Daltile...they're not the cheapest out there, but definitely less than $28/sf. I think Home Depot or Lowe's actually has Daltile products for special order.

This link takes you to one of their products which has a 2x4 brickjoint layout available:

Hope this helps!
