What's the deal with Wolf range pricing?

I have been scouring the web for pricing on Wolf 36 dual fuel ranges with a grill and have found there to be *no* pricing on Wolf ranges whatsoever...what's the deal? Is it part of being a Wolf distributor that you can't publish prices? I want to see if my local dealer is giving me a good price or totally jabbing me. Any thoughts out there?

I think so, yes. Sometimes you can find prices on the web, like at this link:

However, I'm not sure how reliable those types of sites are.
You might want to venture to Gardenweb's appliance forum at the following URL:
http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/appl/
Many posters there have Wolf ranges and will be happy to tell you what they paid for the particular model(s) you're considering.
Some (or at least one) of the bigger online appliance retailers that carries Wolf doesn't display prices, but you can find what I believe are retail prices/MSRP hidden in the webpage for the particular item. Try highlighting the whole description of the range on the page, and see if something pops up. Not sure why they do this.
If it's any help, I've check a few prices in stores. A 30 dual-fuel retails for about $4200, and the 36 version is about $6500. The 36 rangetop is about $2500. I'm not sure why they make these prices so difficult to find -- except that they are high enough that they'd no doubt scare away most people.
