Mirrored glass in front of window behind vanity

I am working with a client on a bathroom renovation. We are relocating the vanity to a wall with a window. I thought it would be nice to have the vanity mirrors be made from mirrored glass hanging partially in front of the window. My questions are - has anyone done this - is there a type of mirrored glass that would work better or to avoid - and on a bright day would the mirror be less reflective inside- I believe the mirrored glass at night will not offer privacy but unsure about that as well.
