On p78 of the April 2006 Dwell there is this picture of a sliding door with very cool steel hardware. The article text says the hardware is from McMaster Carr but I can't find it in their huge catalog. I found the owner/architects website (Krown Lab) but they didn't respond to my question.

Does anyone have any ideas who makes it?
No, probably not these. But I found similar ones at
http://www.bartelsusa.com/sliding.php and
http://www.haefele.de/de/produkte/produkt-katalog/1487_31313235.htm but I can't find those on their US website
I did this about a year ago for a conference room door. I used Stanley sliding door hardware that we bought at Granger.
I heard a rumor that they stopped making the hardware but I have not confirmed this.
Thanks for the suggestions. My architect found these from Functional Fenestration which look very close to the pic.

The Grainger system looks a lot less expensive and less complicated...too bad IKEA hasnt figured this one out yet. I would expect them to have an affordable sliding door kit that looks good...maybe in the future.
