Modern coffee maker ideas?

Posted by Jeremy Dugosh at April 19. 2007

Hello everyone.

Our coffeemaker is dying and we need a replacement.  Do any of you have any suggestions for a cool modern coffee maker (something ala Francis! Francis!, but for regular coffee would be PERFECT)? Any ideas are welcomed. Thanks!

After struggling for months with the problem and the cheesy "stainless stickers" on all the crap out there I finally settled on this guy- white and simple:

It makes great coffee and might not look like much- but it's not trying too hard and falling short either...

My wife and I got a Rowenta Coffe Maker designed by Jasper Morrison (the one with the thermal carafe) about 2 years ago:

We use it almost every day and it has been great. Filters and measuring spoon are stored inside the coffee maker. You just need to add coffee and push the only button (On/ Off) it has.

Thanks, everyone.  I REALLY LOVE the rowenta!  That being said, we are going with another one that we found--I thought I would share:

It really makes you wonder why America has such good taste in coffee makers, and such bad taste in houses!
