The quot;Pink Housequot; in Frankfort

Posted by Jermaine Greene at September 04. 2006

Well, this should probably be a blog, but I'm old school net in the sense that I really prefer on-running threads and the inter-action they bring. A hold over from my past and current on-line car clubs. This is where I'll be bringing you info and pics of what the people of South Frankfort, and even we, just naturally call The Pink House. The salmonish pink was the work of the previous owner- twice removed. The owner before the owner's we bought it from. More on them later. She was/is an artist, and she did incredible work on the place. She did the land scaping, the color, restored the interior, built the deck. However, the original windows remain. That will be dealt with later. The pink color will be adressed in the future as well.I'll just start with a few select pics, and go from here. Comments and just general :disgust: are just part of the net thing, so feel free to post.

The place is looking great! Love the house numbers. Where did you get them?

Thanks Chris! Nice to see some response. Yeah, it's going to be one looooong project to get it to where we want it, but we are in it for the duration. As for the numbers, I ordered them from Weston Numbers http://www.westonletters.com/index_23.php?catID=23file=index.php They are pricey, however. I believe those 3 numbers in 6 inch deep ribbon font hit me for about $106.00 dollars + shipping. Go to the start of this thread, and you can read all about it. http://members.livemodern.com/forums/dwell/furniture/279576963183?b_start:int=20
