PURELY modern? No. A traditional ranch with architecturally signifcant mid century modern styling? YES. Also, when put in context of where it is. This is in a town of about 1300 people and one stop light. Think Mayberry. This house stands out like a sore thumb. Also, it is architect designed with a myriad of features that would cost Glidehouse to replicate today. I know, I've been in it and talked to the life long owners.

I'm actually surprized at the comment. That house is no less modern than the authentic Frank Lloyd Wright house pictured above.

About to be your parents nieghbor. Just bought this MCM over on Campbell! The architect is the same who designed the florar clock at the capital. We move in in July. Uuugh~
