Hey All,
I am new to this board and am excited to be a part of the First Coast Modern team in it's infancy.
I am in the process of renovated/retrodating my home and would like to share some photos. It is my first remodel (doin' it all myself) so I may have made some mistakes along the way with regards to proper materials and design direction, but it's been hard work but VERY rewarding. Please take a look (we all like to look at pictures) and let me know what you thing. Praise, criticism and general comments a very welcome. Ohh...ideas are good too.

Pete,
Thanks for the photos. Looks like you know what you will be doing every weekend for the next year! I saw your posting the day we finally ripped out our own kitchen so I feel for you. Your house looks like a fun project and a great learning experience.
A few questions... The fireplace seems to have no flue, was it decorative? What will become of the stonework?
Also, now that the atrium is interior space will you keep the water element? Can't wait to see what you do with that.
I brought some photos of our place to that last meeting. When I have a moment I will try to get some pics up on the web.
Keep up with the good work. Demolishion is fun, but finishing work is so much more rewarding.
I'm in the market now for a mid century block home to renovate. It seems flippers are having better luck finding houses in my price range, so it may be awhile before I get my house. In the meantime I would like to collect some names of architects and contractors who work in the modern aesthetic. If anyone knows of anyone please pass along.
The only name I know is Robert Broward and don't think I could afford him even if he is still taking clients.
Thanks in advance for any help.
